Ethan’s Lemonade Story
Ethan was only 6 years old, when he visited a local food pantry with his first-grade class and was deeply affected to learn there were people who were hungry because they did not have the means or access to food on a daily basis. After learning answers to his many questions about food insecurity, Ethan developed a plan to raise money through selling lemonade with the sole purpose of “helping those who are hungry.” His plan included all the details required to market, sell and distribute lemonade.
Since 2012, Ethan’s Lemonade has been a smashing success selling Lemonade and related products with 100% of the profits donated food pantries to purchase much needed equipment and food necessary to support an outsized demand. Ethan’s efforts have not gone unnoticed- with accolades from corporations, celebrities and politicians. The outpouring of support led Ethan to find a way to create easy access to his products so he can sell more faster.
During the last 3 years, Ethan's Lemonade transitioned away from its core product and now offers a variety of seasonal food related products. The products are intended to appeal to a broader audience in order to expand the reach and scale required to support individuals experiencing food insecurity throughout the United States. All proceeds will be donated to Feeding America.
